The Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications Companies (OPASTCO) created the Foundation for Rural Education and Development (FRED) to aid rural area growth. They sponsor programs and activities that include various educational, social and economic of rural areas by raising funds for scholarships, awards and programs all over America.

Latelco's parent company, SJI, LLC, annually awards local graduates with scholarships. For more information on this, please contact us.

SJI will award up to four $6000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Scholarships are available to customers* of Latelco, Vision Communications, or SJI Networks. Minimum application requirements are a 3.0 High School GPA and an ACT score of 21. Application deadline is Friday, April 11, 2008 at 4:00 P.M.
